I had the latest version for phones on my phone (4.9.406), so that wasn't it. I don't know what uninstalling and re-downloading does, but I just happened to remember reading that somewhere and then saw it again yesterday, so decided to try it.

I ended up removing the app and re-installing it and it now works. However, when I am away from my home network the app won't load, so I'm still dead in the water.

Did you talk to Tech support about it? Did you ever get it to register or are you just working around it? I, too, have an upcoming trip and was hoping to have my stuff available to me although for me it was more at my location because the other people in the group either don't want to watch TV...

Yeah, there are 2 apps. I have the one for Tablets installed. I get a "can't install" message for the other one although I didn't catch the reason (it doesn't stay up very long). When I had GenieGo, I could watch anything on my DVR anywhere as long as I had a good wifi signal. It even worked...
