never mind, same problem if i go to the channel through the guide, it will not work, but if i enter the channel number on the remote, it will work and the message for no satellite signal will go away for a bit

related to the OP but does Dish have supported boxes in customer hands that don’t support HEVC?

might have fixed some black screen issues i was getting, too early to say for certain but initial use looks good

Never heard speakers click before while downloading an update but it sure is this time.

I’ve since noticed that while what i said here still holds as true, and while the guide tells me there’s signal loss and i cannot watch my locals and cannot pick them through the guide, i can manually type the number on the remote and tune into the channel just fine. Eagerly looking forward to 391.

Never mind lol but maybe i have a different problem. Satellite is locked with good signal strength, but i am told i have no satellite signal and can only stream channels.

Already noticed an improvement with this update but I’ll give it a week to see if that’s a fluke or not.
