Dish Satellite now under 5 Million subscribers/Sling under 2 Million.

Same here. I got Spectrum Fiber in rural Western NC a couple of years ago and it's been great. Started out paying $50 a month for the 300 Mbps plan and now I'm paying $20 for the 500 Mbps plan. I haven't had internet service that cheap since I was on dial up.

Dish Satellite now under 5 Million subscribers/Sling under 2 Million.

I'm surprised Dish still has that many subscribers. I don't know a single person in my area that is still with them after getting either Starlink or fiber at their home. They all cancelled Dish and went with streaming. I used to get offers pretty regularly in the mail to come back to Dish, but...

Gray Media Channels Return To Dish network

The inevitable price increase is coming. We can thank Gray, Nextar, Sinclair, Scripps and Tegna for this.

Gray Media Channels Return To Dish network

Too late for quite a few folks I know who had Dish. They cancelled back during March Madness.

    Dish is dead to me.

Correct. But in 1080p or lower it'll be fine.

    Dish is dead to me.

13 Mbps will be fine for streaming.

Amazon's New Fire TV Sticks No Longer Support Sideloading

Roku has always been a closed system that doesn't allow 3rd party apps. Firesticks were not and are cheap. That's what made them popular.

Amazon's New Fire TV Sticks No Longer Support Sideloading

We'll see. I believe they'll lose a lot of sales. There's a reason why Walmart can barely keep ONN boxes in stock.

Amazon's New Fire TV Sticks No Longer Support Sideloading

I doubt it. Practically everyone I know who buys Firesticks does it for 1 reason.

Amazon's New Fire TV Sticks No Longer Support Sideloading

Without sideloading this new Vega OS will kill sales of Firesticks.

    Comcast running fiber?

I got Spectrum Fiber a couple of years ago in my very rural neck of the NC woods thanks to the RDOF and it's been quite reliable considering it's aerial. I did keep Starlink though on the $5 per month Standby plan.

    SXM still giving discounts

They gave me a deal of 1 year at $5.30 per month.

Charter claims they are going to provide better pricing

The only viable option in my neck of the rural woods is Starlink. I don't mind a bit reactivating Starlink and cancelling Spectrum for a month and then going back as a new customer.

Charter claims they are going to provide better pricing

I actually enjoy telling the Spectrum CS rep that Starlink is more reliable in my area.
