This happened when I downloaded a movie a few weeks ago. I couldn't find it. It also disappeared from the rental list. It reappeared on the list a couple of weeks later and I downloaded it again. No problems the second time.

Yeah! I can see all my recordings now. That was quicker than I thought it would be.

I can finally connect to my 722 with my iPhone but I can only see 1 recording from today. The same thing happens using dishonline.com. Hopefully progress will continue fixing this and I will be able to see all my recordings soon.

10-12 feet. I am glad that the interface designers/programmers took the time to anti-alias the text in the STB interface so it appears better on digital TVs. We will have to wait and see if the user interface will be designed with a higher resolution in future receivers. Nothing sours...

I just had my 942 replaced with a 722. I immediately noticed that the text and menus looked softer with the 722 vs. the 942. It appears to me that the text is more anti-aliased (smoothed) to reduce text pixelation on the 722 than the 942. I have a 70 inch LCOS RPTV.

I still have my 942 until next week so I can confirm that the MPEG 2 HD channels are still available.

Agreed. That is really annoying.

OTA used to be the MPEG2 HD gold standard but many broadcast HD with a full SD subchannel or weather radar robbing bandwidth from the main HD channel. This is most noticeable during sporting events.

If the series were originally filmed a high definition transfer of the film can be made. The picture quality will depend on the quality/condition of the transferred print.

The WHDH OTA signal is fine. It may be an encoding or sync issue with the sat version. I don't have HD satellite locals so I can't compare OTA vs. sat.

On my 942 I get episode # and original air date info. for TV shows and year for movies. This started after the last software update. If the data is garbage in your guide try forcing a guide reload with a check switch.
