Is this feature no longer available?

Not as convenient as before... Go to the future event in the guide. Press select and make a timer for it. Edit the Timer (quick way to edit is to immediately select the show again the guide, might have to move curser off cell then go back to it again) In the Edit Timer page, change Type to...

    VOD Search

Quickest way to search (without voice) that I've found is to hit the Voice button, then Select. You can enter the alpha-numeric and get results for everything, from channel to DVR to VOD results.

    Just got this bad boy

If you're artsy... Paint a grayscale superman logo on it!

Thanks. I've done everything except trying a different router or installing a HIC. I'm not going to pursue those options as the feature is not that important to me, so it's just going to remain non-functional for now.

    No PIP from Joey 4

My suggestion is to go to a Duo Hub and use a splitter off the Duo Hub center tap to feed all your Joeys. All the equipment will be able to see each other and share DVR content anywhere.

That's next, just the Hopper alone. I don't see how a hub would improve anything over an unmanaged switch. But I am a network 🤪 The switch is a TP-Link TL-SG1024 and has no way to set speeds.

The one 1Gbps port feeds an unmanaged switch that has all house devices on it. Fiber Modem/ONT → Router (WAN port) Router (one LAN port) → Switch Switch → ~12 wired devices (with spare ports) Router also provides 2.4GHz WiFi

Thanks for giving input. I don't have any settings to set port speed, at least I can't find any. Port speeds are reported as 1Gbps for WAN and LAN. I've set Firewall OFF/ON, DOS ON/OFF, QOS ON/OFF (what is Dish's PPV server, HTTPS?) and did even more than what I was comfortable with. No...

It's all hardwired via CAT5e cable. Hoppers have been set to an assigned IP address, too.

For 💩 and 😂 this is what Grok had to say. Next is to bypass the router and go direct from the fiber modem to the solo Hopper. I knew I should have labeled as I went. 😂

CPU of what, the router? I'd think it is just handling the throughput of a data stream, which it does with no problem at well above >250Mbps with other programs and applications (even the Joey 4 streams YouTube that fast). The router, an ASUS RT-N66U, is probably coming up on 12 years old, but...

    Festivus - Airing of Grievances

To address the 4k Joey: To sum it up, the 4k Joey is pointless. The only thing it does is upconvert HD and lesser resolutions to a 4k output. Any 4k TV can already do that. What it doesn't do is display any 4k programming. So again, what's the point?

Is This a Valid LNB Configuration for Two Hopper 3?

I have Hopper 3s without the Hopper+ add-on. I don't have any problems with ch 540 4k, be it viewing, recording, or playback. Your buddy should be able to access the free 4k content. It's really limited but there's some there to experiment with. Look under 4k, then Free 4k. A bunch...
