    Dish Price Increases (2024-25)

Several months ago we downgraded to the Flex Pack. Cut our monthly bill in almost in half. Funny thing is, we recently realized that with things like Netflix and Prime, along with the Roku channel and an OTA antenna, we weren't watching Dish much at all. Cancelled today, after over 28 years. My...

EchoStar/Dish raises doubts about 'ability to continue as a going concern'

Just checked my T-Mobile speed. 294mb down. Location, location, location. I'm about 1/2 mile from the tower.

    Disney-Charter battle highlights bundling demise?

True, but from what I know of those, I have T-Mobile, they are for a limited time. At least that's how the Paramount+ worked. Plus, charter is a bigger player in the space. As I'm still a Dish customer, my experience in the area is very limited. But, it appears that will have to change at some...

    Disney-Charter battle highlights bundling demise?

I don't know how long this will go on as I'm not effected by it. What I find interesting is Charter's position of we want our customers to have access to all of your streaming services. Otherwise we're paying you to compete with us. If they are serious about being willing to walk away from the...

    Disney-Charter battle highlights bundling demise?

Thus the warning I posted. I'm guessing you're not familiar with Clay Travis. Political is his schtick. And unfortunately the last publication I recall that wasn't political was My Weekly Reader.

    Disney-Charter battle highlights bundling demise?

For a much more in depth view of the issue between Charter and ESPN and its potential impact beyond those two companies. And fair warning, it too ventures into the political, albeit from the other side. ESPN Vs. Charter Could Be The End Of The Cable Bundle...And Sports As We Know It ⎮Clay Travis

Dish Network desperate to raise money to meet 5G deadline, source says

Its all about location with T-Mobile. I'm less than a mile from the tower and get 300/40+ routinely. Certainly worth the $50.

    Hopper 3 H341

I downloaded 341 yesterday morning. This morning it showed 342. Now it shows 339. Perhaps their subscriber loss has started to effect their programming staff.

    Dish Network Login

I think you've isolated the problem. If you check the T-Mobile Home Internet discussion boards you will find numerous problems with the way they assign IP addresses. And of course, unlike some other ISPs they do not offer a static IP address. There are a couple of work arounds. You could just...

    Dish Network Login

Is your IP address in the same geographic location as your house? At times my T-Mobile issued IP address is more than 300 miles from where I live. Can you login to dishanywhere.com? That should work if the IP address location is a problem, because, well 'anywhere'. If it works, it may well be...

    Dish Network Login

I just tried it with my VPN enabled and with it disabled. Both logins were successful. So its not a VPN issue. T-Mobile does some odd things with IP addresses. Check your assigned IP address and see if it corresponds to your location. If not, that may be an issue.

    Dish Network Login

I have T-Mobile home internet and have no issues with Dish. But, many sites will block you if using a VPN. I don't recall if Dish is one of them.

    Disney Networks Dispute Recitifed

Got an email from Dish this morning announcing the return of Disney/ESPN. Scanning my spam folder for the email announcing the departure of Disney/ESPN. No luck so far...

    Disney Networks Dispute Recitifed

I woke up early to see if they were back for the F1 race. I just bought a new LG OLED and it came with a month of Fubo. Signed up and watched the race. So, I'm good for a month, if they're not back by then I think I'll give YouTube TV a try. The only things I care about on ESPN are college...
