one last question. When I hook up the splitter on my wineguard squareshooter ss-2000 does it go before the amplifier or after??? Or does it matter?

I guess I could put the HD locals on my TV instead of the receiver and then I could cancel my locals with Dish Network.

These advertisement tell you to d/l their software. Some charge a fee. Which are the best? Does anyone know.

I also love my 622. I'm just upset that they don't have local stations in HD yet . I'll try both ways and see which one gives the most chanells and clearer picture in HD.

Can someone explain this new way of getting Satellite over your PC. Some say it's free but I doubt that. Thay say you can hook up your PC to you TV if you have a PC card. Is this on the up and up.

That was my next question. I have only 1 OTA ( I purchased the wineguard squareshooter) and 1 Satellite dish. What type of splitter do I need to use?

One last question: would it be best to hook the antenna directly to the tv or run it to my dvr622 (my HD receiver). Would either one give me more HD chanells than the other.

On the ss-2000 that I purchased is tells you to set the skew, azimuth and the elevation. Where do I get these from. Will each station have it's own. Or do I just play around and try to get the best reception??? Help...
