yes, either a 1000+ or a 1000.2, you could always put up a wing dish for the 129....but that's just gay. be sure you have a line of sight before ordering HD, either for the 61.5 sat, or the 129 (both are used for HD)

Bull go to Menu 6 1 3, and run the system info test, that'll tell you if you've got LNB drift, if he has 50% signal, Dish Network sent out a software upgrade for all 301/311/381 recievers (about 4-6 weeks ago), and they now show a modified signal, that is actually about a 90-95% signal on a...

IF the Dish has to be moved, it's a $99 fee, for a service install, good luck trying to get Dish to drop that...I had it done for 1 customer, but no details :P
