I too have to order online....I can view and record on both DVR's..:D

Only thing is we actually share the use of it with Sister-in-law and her husband....so there can be different groups using it all spring/summer long....:). I would like to take one 301 reciever and set up a Dish dish, or put a Dish LNB on my Directv dish align it, and pay Dish...

I use the "Lake Condo" on weekends and sometimes for a week or 10 getaway.....also I still have college age kids at home that are there even though the wife and I are gone......our "place at the lake" is only a 4 hour drive..........and as I said Directv lets you do this and you dont have to...

I have 4 recievers and had my landline disconnected 3 months ago.....called Dish and they did remove the 5.00 fees on the recievers, as long as I have Dish, for not having the phone line connected. If the Audit team calls me, it will be my cell, which is the number on the account now, I will...

I kept telling them it has to be between the dish & the switch to affect all 4 recievers.....last thing anyone wanted to do was replace cable......:rolleyes:

O.K. I think problem is solved.....they came this morning , added power inserter, changed all cable connections. It was working when they came and when they left....... It happened again at 3:30 EST :down.....tech came back and decided to replace cable from Dish to grounding block on...

Had my landline disconnected in Jan., called dish and let them know....they have taken off(disabled) the phone line connection fee,(4 recievers), for my account for ever....:)

Evidently NOT....1st Cable goes to separater then to the 522 Sat.1 & Sat.2 in.:D If Dish brings one can it go on the cable before the separater then just plug it in or does this reciever need to be connected to another switch coming of the first switch???:hungry::eureka

You don't have to back up.....just hit record button and it gives you options to record remainder of the program....or if you were tuned to that channel the entire time it will say you can record the entire event.......at least this is how the 625 works....

Update 4/15: Still not working. Have left messages for tech to bring power inserter and get my system hooked up the way it should be!!:rolleyes: Since I have 4 recievers on the DPP44 is it correct in assuming if a power inserter is put on port 1 that another switch will be needed for the...

I can take pics if you like....the only things that are plugged in are the power cords for the boxes themselves:) where else would the power inserter be??? nothing plugged in connected to the switch.... :confused: tech replaced the grounding block outside in a box on the house.....also...

No Power Inseter. I checked....:D Grounding block is what is outside in box before coming into the houe...then straight to the switch....ports 1 & 2
