    If you go into Menu->Settings->Setup->Info & Test->Right under "Original Version" you'll see the "Previous Upgrade" where your software version is. And the D11-100 is the ugliest of the D11's.

    Honestly, people don't really think about things. As a call center representative, I constantly get asked to have a free service call because "I just tried to adjust my dish to get the static off my screen, now I have no service! Get out here, and I'm not paying for it!" It costs D*...

    Just a warning, if you try to use D* signal outside of the US, and D* knows about it, don't ever try to come back into the country, you'll have a warrant out for your arrest. A Slingbox, however, is COMPLETELY LEGAL!

    Your installer was originally correct. A Bucket with a pole that is flush with the ground and cemented in is the best option for an apartment based installation. Do not expect the installer to provide any of this, he will charge you extra.
