I know my opinion is getting worse - any action scene is just junk. Even the Voom HD commercial looks bad. The more I watch it the more frustrated I get. No motion scenes look excellent - the moment there it motion I might as well be watching SD.

Somehow I doubt they are really tweaking it - I think that's what they want us to think. Every one is worried if Voom will stay in business past April 1st - I'm wondering if I can tolerate this horrid picture until then.

My display is the JVC 52" DILA. I think in low movement scene the picture quality is better, just in action / high movement it really seems to suffer... to an extent that definitely wasn't viewable with DirecTV. I'd probably rate them even too because of this. Sounds temporary - good.

I've had Voom for one day now, and still have DirecTV... It seems that the general opinion is that Voom is better, but I am not sure if I completely agree. It seems in still shots the PQ definitely is better, but whenever there is fast paced action on screen it gets SUPER blocky. I notice this...

Any updates on this? My JVC-DILA listed above won't work with the DVI cable. I know the cable isn't bad because I still have D* and when I swap it over things work just fine.

No they don't firings layoffs etc are always routed internally first. At least it always has for the two I've worked for - and they are quite big.

Great - Regardless of the answer they'll let their employees know first and then subscribers. Have you ever been at a big business before a big press release? This isn't unusual at all.

I think your attitude is similar. I posted this in another thread but will do it here as well. NOT informing their employees first would be unprofessional and irresponsible. The employees deserve to know first in this situation - it impacts their lives far more than living room...
