I am experiencing a very weak signal (no lock) on the OETA channels (12112 V 8702 on 125.0°W AMC 21 Ku). Montana and the other PBS feeds are strong. Is this a weather or transponder related problem? In the past the OETA signals have been stronger than Montana but never as strong as the PBS...

RTV coming in at 60 to 65% quality. Good video and steady signal.

I have the MHD set for 1080p at 60 Hz for my LG 23" monitor. The problem happens only when the windows mentioned are on the screen.

My periodic blank screen problem is quite different. Everything works well except in views where a window pops up; ie. Signal, Info, DVR and Timer button modes. Here I get a black screen alternating with what should actually be there and it does this every few seconds. It does not affect...

Thanks Brian, Timeshift is turned off. The Seagate GoFlex Desk 1.5TB drive has always been on and spinning when the MHD is on, timeshift on and off. I have not changed any settings since taking it out of the box. Perhaps this is something that must be set by a computer with the Seagate setup...

I have a number of items to report on. First, my clock seems to be keeping perfect time now that I never put my MHD on standby. Second, my Seagate hard drive is also continuously running, not ever in sleep mode (I can tell by the vibration) and I do not have any recording latency problems...

Good information on the timers last night. I set 9 timers to run 55 minutes each with a 5 minute gap, rotating over 3 HD channels and this morning 9 good recordings were waiting for me. The channels were PBS on a single transponder on 125W. The MHD was on standby last night and ended on standby...
