The 1000.4 Dish is a couple of inches better than the 1000.2. The .4 arm is a lot longer and the lnb bracket is smaller than the .2. You cannot use .2 parts with the .4. Did I explain everything right? The receiver and dvd player are in my back room and in the living room I can watch tv1, tv2, and dvd player using only a single rg6 coax cable. There is no picture quality loss on either tv.
