Offer a la carte programming. I'm a 16 year Directv subscriber who just canceled his service due to price increases. It wasn't worth the price to watch the few channels that interest me.

I agree. I believe new customers get it free for life? I've been a customer for 14 years... I think I should get it free for life.

My two years of free HD ran out this past month, so I called up and complained. Got it free for another 12 months.

It's true we did lose them at midnight and they're still off this morning. I hope the issue is resolved soon.

I just forced the download at 6:10 eastern time this morning. So far I really like it. My H23-600 is so much quicker. The PIP is on the left when I bring up my guide, it used to be on the right. That will take a little getting used to but no big deal.

Well I tried it about 11:20 last night. Didn't receive the download. After my receiver rebooted, nothing worked. It just stayed on the same channel I was watching. Couldn't bring up my guide, or menu or even change channels. I went to bed and rebooted my receiver this morning to get it working...

I have an H23-600 Does this mean I'm not getting it?

I don't think anyone would be near the 24 month period yet because if I recall correctly, they just started the free HD a year ago. Having said that I now have to call DirecTV because this month's bill has the 10.00 charge for HD and I stilll have a year to go.

I have an H23-600 and have the exact same problem. I auto tuned Fox & Friends for 6:00 am every night, but when I get up and turn on my tv, it's just a black screen that I can't channel up or down. I have to punch in the channel 360 with my remote to go to it.

Hey Guys, I have an H23-600 receiver that I turn off each night when I go to bed, only to get up the next morning and see that it turned itself on in the night. This happens at least 9 nights out of 10. Is this normal for these receivers to turn themselves on? Thanks.
