I have the same issues while watching ESPN2HD, and I'm using a HDMI cable. I highly doubt switching from HDMI to component would fix the problem. I guess you could switch down to the SD channel, or get use to it like I have.

I am thinking about making the switch from Cox to DN (turbo HD),but was wondering if it's worth having a 24 month commitment? I Really don't want a contract, just in case something comes up and I want to cancel before the 2 year period.
