Not true, here in NY I am currently getting 47 National channels, 4 Locals, 2 RSN and 8 PPV channels. There are other HD channels available in sports packages as well. Plus there are 14 National channels and 2 more RSN still scheduled to launch this year. So that would be 69 channels (not...

Any word on what the VOD service will cost? I am currently with Verizon Fios but am thinking of switching back to Directv when all the new HD channels launch. Verizon includes VOD for free if you subscribe to the channel, I am hoping Directv does the same thing.

SNY HD is up and running, now I just have to wait until April to have something worth watching.

SNY HD has been on the guide for about a week as channel 815 and does give show information but has no audio or video
