Hi, Bob, I had FFE free for a time, then one day it had only a "preview" that was a short loop, and it showed the option to upgrade, so I did. So tonight, I added back the free version to see if maybe they had gone back to being free, but it still just had the "preview" and option to upgrade...

I am one of Sky Angel's "official" bloggers. The Roku Sky Angel channel was discontinued in October. I think that might have been a good way for Sky Angel to go except the price was too high relative to other Roku channels that have a subscription fee. I bought a Roku specifically to get the Sky...

Call Sky Angel's customer service -- they can take care of it for you. I did that just yesterday.

The picture quality is definitely better.

For those who enjoy figure skating, there is a lot of coverage, much of it live, of the World Figure Skating Championship in France on Universal Sports (channel 321) today (3/29/12) and through the weekend.

The 4-hour playback feature still works with the new box. The recording issue relates to setting your own recordings.

The FFE channel is back on today (11/15/11).

The "technical difficulties" message is also displayed on Sky Angel WebTV, and when I try to watch live at FFE's website, I just get a blank screen.

Hmm, I had understood that you can't record on a Tivo 2 with the new white box. Do you also get an on-sreen program guide through Tivo with that box? Is there an audio out that would allow use of an FM transmitter with the new box?

It's on the Sky Angel IPTV lineup (Family Package) as of today (10/25/11).
