    cfb, you nailed it !! (took me a little while...the Netgear firmware app only works on WinXP so I had to build a WinXP machine) I loaded the new Netgear firmware and MRV started working across the NetGear Powerline . Problem solved !!

    Okay...I can read the handwriting on the wall, and there aren't too many adjustments I can make with the XE104's or my HR-2x boxes. I will try another brand of Powerline adapters and see what happens.

    When I go to the weather app, it says to select 'options' to choose my city and zipcode. Am I supposed to have an 'options' button on my remote control ? Because I sure can't find it.
