    Hughes DVR80 or R10 or R15

    Doesn't the R15 have alot more recording time than the others? Is this an even trade off for not being a TIVO unit?

    DirecTV and Cable Internet

    If your house is pre-wired for satelite you should have no compatability problems with cable/internet service. I have a similar set up and have no problems other than not enough coax runs to my satellite install location.
