Just to update this. Andrew responded to my pm today but so far all he has asked is if it was plugged into the wall directly.

I am aware it is in standby. I just said it wrong. I knew they ran hot but I never noticed it as hot as it runs now.

Previous post should have said second Hopper updated.

Finally got second updated to S449. All is well.

Another 10 days has passed and still on S440 with on of my Hoppers. I do believe Charise that it will come soooooon and not soon! :)

I realize from Hall's post above that as of the 15th he was still on S440. It is now the 22nd and I am also still there on one of my Hoppers. The other one got the update when it first came out. I use Closed Captioning every day on the Hopper that has not received an update and never use it...

I ordered an OTA tuner from www.solidsignal.com yesterday and it shipped today. If nothing changes I will lose my NBC, ABC and CW stations tomorrow night at midnight. I may be without DVR capabilities on those channels for a few days until it arrives but hopefully the dispute will end soon and...
