Does anyone know when Comcast/Xfinity is going to roll out all those new HD channels in the Fort Lauderdale area? I recently received a flyer from them regarding a whole bunch of new Latino channels (in SD) but nothing about the new HD channels.

It's not just number chasing. If you have a HDTV, watching a SD channel is sheer torture. SD programs on HD channels look FAR better than SD programs on SD channels (unless the SD content is stretched).

So... Versus is gone from D*, MLB EI is gone from E*, Comcast has limited HD channels... You can't make everybody happy. Can you?

I complained to Dish about the lack of MLB EI on their system. I got a "standard" response from them TWO WEEKS LATER... the same wording that is on their web site regarding MLB. Therefore, unless they change their minds next year, I will be canceling Dish Network when my contract is expired...

If you receive regional sports networks outside of their market, you cannot get the major league sports teams that they broadcast. The channel is blacked out. I would want to pay an extra fee to see the team or teams that they broadcast as well. That is currently not allowed... and I think...

I had MLB Network with Cable and I liked it. I was hoping to have it in HD when I switched to Dish. I was disappointed to find out that it was not available. I will be hounding Charlie about this until he caves in.

I think that Dish needs to listen to it's customers and not to their pocket books. If they want to stay competitive in this market, they need to carry the programs that people want. I am very disappointed that Dish is not carrying MLB Extra Innings Although it's probably too late for this...
