Just realized that you need both the ID and the password. Even if the ID works, we don't know what the password is for the Sling Adapter so it won't work.

Can you use the ID listed on the remote access website for the Sling Adapter? It can be found under Preferences-->Receiver-->Receiver/Slingbox settings.

Joined a little while ago. This is my first post. I'm a Dish user. Had been using a 6000 but just upgraded to a 942 (I don't really care about the new MPEG4 HD channels). I'm sure I'll learn a lot from this site.
