    Thanks for the tips zazu. Its windy and chilly right now so I won't me messing with it this weekend. I have a plan for setting the motor/dish at one time and not loosing any fingers in the process :eek: JJ

    I am sure glad you started this thread! I too am getting ready to mount my motorized setup and just assumed I should set up everything (motor, dish and LNB) on the ground and mount the whole assembled unit on the pole. Now you have me wondering. Thanks for starting this. JJ
