The end for Traditional TV is closer then ever

Yea - Nielsen has dropped the books in favor of monitoring devices. Now it just listens to what you are watching / listening to and records that information.

    Name all your streaming devices...

I only use Roku devices to stream. Keep upgrading so now just a couple of Roku Ultra devices and giving the older units to my kids.

    Bah Humbug Sirius :(

Maybe the car radio needs a satellite refresh? You could always call customer service.

Looks like YTTV added 3 Hallmark channels. I haven't seen anything about it, but the main channel along with Drama and Movies & Mysteries are eligible to be added to the live grid. They are unchecked at the bottom when you go to customize the live grid.

    Transferring Free Preview

Try adding the new radio to your account. They usually will give you a 3 month trial when you add it.

Does anyone know if Sirius adds a Holidays channel to the sat feed?

Ironically I had the same thought. Couldn't wait for Hallmark and Holly to be active next week, so started to play Christmas music yesterday via my phone in the car.

Anyone know where I can rent this title?

Looks likes Amazon sells it on DVD for under $13. I do know that "The Return of the King" was not done by Baskhi who was behind the 1978 animated "The Lord of the Rings", so it is not a true sequel or conclusion as "The Two Towers" is totally skipped. Link

Just renewed 2 radios, and I got a good deal. I think

Mine was all upfront payment as well. I am located in Illinois. I was previously paying $11.99/mo with $2.57 for music fees. That means the percentage is 21.4 for music fees under either deal.

Just renewed 2 radios, and I got a good deal. I think

That was the first offer they gave me. I told them that I don't drive much due to Covid and they gave me that offer. It matches the current offer for new subscribers - $8.25/mo plus music fees. I just needed to pay up front. I will admit that my current subscription had just ended and...

Just renewed 2 radios, and I got a good deal. I think

I was able to renew earlier this week for 1 year of All Access at $120.19 ($99 + $21.19 music fees). This did require the full amount paid up front.

Nice addition to the base package. Wonder if they will move any other sports channels to the tier when they are able to in the future.

The price increase is effective July 30th. That means whenever your next renewal date after the 30th will receive the increase. My renewal date is the 24th. That means on 8/24 my monthly bill will be 64.99 versus the 7/24 bill of 49.99.

    Which Roku to buy?

The Streaming Stick is a great middle ground for a Roku device. Personally, I picked up 3 Ultras last Black Friday for $50 and run them on all my TVs. Since I've streaming only now, I will just use the Ultras on my TVs and upgrade them when I can since they are the snappiest devices within the...

    The YouTube TV Thread

We recently made the change too from Dish to YTTV. We had Dish for over 11 years (thanks Claude!), with DirecTV before then. The wife also watches the Hallmark Channel and UPTv, so we also subscribed to Philo. I think one can subscribe just to Hallmark channels for $5/mo direct through their...
