    HDTV in chicago?

    I live near Grayslake, IL. I just called DirecTV and they say that I can get the CBS and FOX HD feeds out of New York, but the Chicago NBC and ABC stations do not allow DTV to allow me to view the NBC & ABC feeds out of New York. Bummer. At least I have CBS & FOX HD now. Why did I have to...

    Hi all, I'm new here. I just got DirecTV and and a little overwhelmed with the wonderful choice of channels and information. When looking in the on-screen guide, some of the movies (HBO, etc...) have symbols next them. I recognize HD as High Def, but I can't figure out what the LD symbol...
