I don't think they would care if the Echostar deal went south, just as long as they got their $200 million and got out of the DBS business. So if Dolan can assume the agreement assigned with Echostar..no big problem.

The problem with this press release is it doesn't specifically mention any names at cablevision or voom and they got the name of Voom wrong, since the original annoucement it has been called Voom HD LLC. Something just isn't right about this, if calblevision hasn't put it in their press release...

I don't think that you will ever see alll of the originals on D* or E* or local cable, however to fund the Voom project creating one or two commerical supported HD channels using the content created for the originals may be the answer.

I am having the same exact problem...my neighbor has cable and the 30 and 47 HD are still on the cable
