I had reason to speak with a CSR this weekend. I know these guys tend to be a bit optimistic, and the story has changed multiple times. However, this CSR told me the same thing I've seen others post in this forum - that they are in final testing of the PVR and it seems to be working well...

My one-year-old has managed to put the box in a mode that even the service technician could not undo any other way EXCEPT...Hard reset. Just unplug your box...wait 10-15 seconds...plug it back in. Should go back to normal...

Look for a separate audio in rca pair that may seem like they're just isolated audio in with no obvious video in signal. Or, some tv's that use DVI/HDMI have a particular channel in (video 1, video 2, etc) where if you use the DVI/HDMI, it would be in place of the more obvious components...

We were happily receiving channel 20. Then, yesterday I decided to get rid of my entertainment center that houses the tv. I had to unplug everything, and obviously inadvertently enabled the SuperDMA. Suddenly, no more channel 20. What gives?!
