Yep, checked with Dish, it activated fine. They did ask me if it was purchased from a retailer or "from a friend." Wasn't sure how to answer that one so I went with the latter.

So I've had been on the BB@Home package for a while now. Enjoy the extra channels, mail for me isn't too slow and I actually have a Blockbuster near my work so I like the in-store swap option. However, I just upgraded to a 722K receiver and can't figure out how the on-demand streaming works...

Seriously, a technician visit? With cable I could take the box down to the local office, swap it out, and hook up the new one on my own. It's not like the dish needs moved or anything. I don't see why a box couldn't be sent, disconnect old, hook up the new one, send the old one back...
