i had all kinds of problems, sent back 2 brand new DVR's. direct tv support sucked. finally after my own research went out and bought a new (POWERD) multi-switch...threw the Zinwell in the garbage...solved all my weird problems......(so far) :o

which dvr do you think is better? philips 708 or hns sd-dvr80? had problems changing to higher number channels and color flickering...with hns...so they sent me philips 708...still have problems with switching but not as bad...i always liked hughes...(a few years ago) maybe not anymore?? need to...
