    I prevented burn in by keeping the screen "Full" in other words no black bars for at least the first 100 hours.

    I have a 50PX60U and love it...I am useing HDMI to the TV and Opitical to a Amp and its great!!. I have HD set to Normal and SD to Partial Zoom and seems to work the best. You should be very happy with it.
