If you consider $10 to be a lot of money then you are correct. If you consider the Hopper 3 to be the best DVR, it is worth $10.

Starting this week the New Tag is missing on topics inside the forums. The tag is on the forum listing but not on each topic. This situation is frustrating because I don't know what I have already read without checking each of the topics.

Customer of about 25 years. AT200, Hopper 3, Joey - $100/month for 2 years. Equivalent to YTTV except for the luxury of having the Hopper. Hardware is much better than streaming IMHO. Got it by calling the retention number.

Laff OTA in Birmingham is 16x9. If I had guide info I might actually use OTA feeds on my Hopper ;)

With a Hopper, the picture can be expanded easily. I mapped my double diamond button to allow me to stretch or zoom as needed. Takes all of 5 seconds. Also with Hopper FMC can be recorded.

While what you say is true, they had a lot of cable subscribers, video and internet, and sold a package that was extremely cheap. This cheap package relied on their inherent internet for operation. I looked into it (had Spectrum at the time) and decided it was not feasible for anyone who used...

You make a valid point but that same argument could be made for most channels that are distributed via MVPD.

The key here is that Warner owns the rights to a vast amount of movies. Personally I love old movies especially those with no commercials. Over the Memorial Day weekend I recorded a lot of war movies from TCM & FMC. The majority were from TCM. Those from FMC were loaded with commercials...

"It does not have the entire TCM library but there is a lot there." The fact that it is a subset of TCM indicates that it is not the true TCM - at least to me and my money.
