    Hmmm, according to SA the SATA port is active from the factory, TW disables the SATA port.

    Just tried to install an Apricorn storage expander on my SA8300. Wouldn't work as TW Columbus has the SATA port disabled..............too bad, really need that extra stroage, any thoughts on another alternative?

    Thanks for post. I don't seem to be able to tune my DVR to 999. I guess I will just keep looking.

    Can someone tell me how to determine how much storage is available for recording on my SA HD8300? The SA site tells me to hit the "B" button, but that doesn't show me the available storage. Thanks Mike:confused:
