    Just got an email reply from TVJapan. TVJapan said they contacted DishNetwork themselves. Channel 675 appears to be back in the guide.

    This happened a few years ago to channel TVJapan 640 on 61.5 satellite. When it happened I sent off some emails to these 3 addresses explaining that non-subscribers could no longer view the free previews because the channel was hidden in the guide. tvjwest@tvjapan.net...

    TVjapan

    I'm thinking of switching to DirecTV. Does anyone know if you have to be subscribed to Dishnetwork to get the various free News programs that air on Tvjapan? If I just have an unsubbed reciever and a dish pointed at 61.5 will it work?
