    No on the closed captioned. These are tiny letters barely ledgible in the upper left corner. Sometimes they appear and then go away. It's something in the signal. It happens on more than one channel.

    I have had the 811 for about 2 weeks. I have been reading about the 49% signal flaw. I put an antenna in my attic and can receive stations in memphis (about 75-85 miles away)and get a respectable 75-80% signal. One memphis signal ABC 24, will only come in at 49% with no pic except when I do...

    This is the Delta. There's really no big hills between us. That's probably why the reception is so good.

    Anyone else seen this from an 811?

    I have a $73 Radio Shack 31 element outdoor antenna in my attic and receive Memphis stations at 80-85%. I live in Jonesboro, Arkansas which is 75 miles away.
