Even when you hit the power button the hr-20 is still on it never goes off so it doesn't matter. when you "turn it off" your only turning off the lights

All i had to do was go to m.directv.com and put in my username and password (same as your directv account) then I selected what shows to record. I can even do it from my treo 700p

I didnt have any issues, it may have been a problem with your local station

The CW is only in about six markets, in OKC, we dont get it here in HD either. The OTA signal is so spotty here if the wind blows the wrong way,you lose it

IMO this is a 2 phase operation: 1. get the channels broadcasting in hd. 2. provide content that is filmed in hd. It is cheaper to upscale a program to hd then it is to film the program in hd. People need to be patient, the hd content is just around the corner

Normal when something like this happen, it is because people have been abusing the privalege of suspending there service. Not all but some, will suspend there service till there contract is satisfied then cancel there service so they don't have a cancelation fee or a monthly fee during the time...

Get the installer back out out to your house. sounds like your dish isn't aligned properly you should be getting signal on 119 and 103b

Is your dish out of alinement? does it happen with both boxes or just one? If its happening with just one box I would say its the box. If its happening with both I would say call Directv and have someone come out and look to see if its the dish or other equipment that is causing it
