i would rather have a nice clear TNT,USA,TBS, ect than a multicolored version....
they had logos in the guide for a short time
many people hated them, they took up too much space
and they slowed it down

directv on demand via the receivers is flaky, per reports on directv forums
directv now is internet based and should be better
trying to compare...
i have read on the directv forums that the images are delivered via internet, not sure if its correct

again. the ip version is not even in the thought of many users. as they have directv because there is no cable, and therefore no internet.

each will upscale differently
cheap unit, will most likely be worse then a better unit
satellite internet is an abomination. latency, bandwidth restrictions. its better to deal with cell if you can get a signal
true, but some of us have tried both and prefer the content on directv.
i guess if i had no other choice i would have to go back to dish.

if you got credits and agreed over the phone, you started a contract...
