Turned voom on early this morning. Auto-switching repeatedly from channel to guide; controls nonresponsive; forced boot; channel locks screwed up; all channels locked if any are unless you remove the rating lock or your pin... Also the programming guide seems to have been in error frequently...

But it doesn't take you directly to the channel until you press ok or enter whatever.(not at home now). I'd like to go directly to the next picture without having to do that.

I know that you can scroll through the favorites listing then choose one and jump to it, but I really like my cable's favorite set up. You can jump directly through all your favorite selections seeing each as you go. Can it be done on Voom?

Any football fan would have to admit that after viewing SportsCenter highlights in HD, having Sunday Ticket would be marvelous. I did get to see the Colts Titans ota which was great. Then it was Raiders Bills, not so great. FSN for the Los Angeles area would keep me a happier camper. I...

How does one access standby mode?

If I try Sean's fix, then turn it off, when I turn it back on I get the red light of voom doom. Wondering if somebody's head will roll .......

My other stb is now doing the same thing. Trying Sean's fix. 1 DOA order from ebay today and another substandard arrival two days ago. grrrrrrrrrrrrr

The stb won't change channels and won't turn off. I've turned the power off to the unit a number of times and waited for reboot, but no improvement. The other stb has no problem. Any ideas? Thanks, mgh :confused:
