    Voom on Dish I am un impressed with Dishnetwork's HD programming. I have the 942 receiver and think as soon as my discount time is over I will disconect HD. The content is minimal. I'm paying about $15 per mo for what?

    I had mine installed yesterday. Two dishes. What I thought interesting was they daisy chained each of the LNBs and then fed one line into the house. No external switches. They did try to use my Voom dish.

    Voom's free switchover offer to Dish far from free...

    Don't know if I would say better. If it was better the motion picture industry would use it. It compresses more but has a time restraint in doing that so that motion might appear jerky or somewhat.
