I totally agree. Comcast isn't bad at all, but they do not have a superior picture to satellite (either provider - cable providers download off satellite too) Something is not right with this installation I think.

I use to have both Comcast and Dish. I kept Comcast for internet and switched exclusively to Dish for TV. I've got 211s at 3 locations (which is why I switched to Dish for TV) and have never noticed a picture quality issue vs. cable. Are you using HDMI connections to all the displays?

Is there always a $7 or $10 charge for a second receiver? Even if it's leased or owned? I have 2 receivers, both leased. I was thinking about buying one or two and returning the leased receivers, but I've now gotten both answers from Dish (go figure).

I don't know if this means anything or not, but I just got billed for my HD Absolute package from 1/17/11 - 2/16/11. I know they can/will prorate billing, but one would think they'd only bill thru 2/1 if the package was ending on that date.
