Did you see my post in the "If you are having trouble..." section of the DirecTV forum. I too was unable to get the odd channels only the even. Once I disconnected two lines from the multi-switch and connected them directly I got perfect signals readings on all sats & transponders.

The photo was taken before the changes were made to enable me to receive the new HD channels. In the text I describe that the the "OUT 1" and the "13V 22KHz" lines have been disconnected from the switch in the photo and connected directly together in order to receive the new HD channels. -...

I too would never have thought that I would be comparing the looks of D*with that of Voom. It's finally payback time for having to choose one of the two evils and having to deal with HD-Lite for 3 years. Whats funny is I hired some help to fix the reception of the newly enabled D* channels...

My answer to the problems I had . . . I was having trouble getting the 103b satellite odd transponders yielding only signal strengths of 0. The even transponders were around 85-95%. I was able to get all the new HD channels except five, which I presume are on the odd transponders. The...

So what can possibly come of this? A small monetary reimbursement for each of D* HD subscribers, and a few line changes in its product brochures and volia. . . continued HD-Lite. We will still own $$$$$$$$$ sets made by companies that sell HD capable equipment without the sat broadcasters...

I am just hoping that this is not a technological problem that cannot be solved without major equipment changes. I am thinking in terms of the type of modulation used in transmission being so susceptible to interference that we cannot possibly expect to see continuous non-interrupted reception...

What firmware does your H20-100 have?

Its still is not showing up in the guide. I may be requiring a reset and guide download. . . It was displaying just fine before.

OMG your right! I tried twice with my wife present and when I punched in 75 it stated no channel available??? I just went back and tried and it poped right up. Sorry for the false alarm but I swear that it didn't work. . . it wasn't listed in the guide either. :( :confused:

What happened to TNT-HD @ ch75? We are watching "Law and Order" on TNT @ ch245 but there is no TNT-HD option on 75? Did I miss something? :confused:

HDMI vs. Component I initially hooked up my Panny 50" plasma to the H20 using the HDMI. I was disappointed to see the colors appear washed out big time! I then switched to component connections and the color returned to where it was when I had an HDMI VOOM connection serviced by Rainbow. I...

My local HD's are now out too. I haven't been watching for the past couple of days so I'm not sure when we lost them. Does anybody know for sure if the receiver can detect how the dish is positioned? The reason why I ask it that when everything was working correctly the Signal Strength screen...

I just received a software update for my H20 receiver via the sat! It seems to fix the sound vs. picture out of sync. problem for the MPEG4 local HD channels. :clap Here are some screen shots of the before and after system info screens.
