I have a bunch of mp4s (home movies) loaded on a windows PC with a share setup. I can access the computer and and show the mp4s in a list but they all have an x in front of them. I used handbrake to transcode the video/audio from a DVD vob etc format to mp4. Does the Genie not support playback...

Did not mean to lead you down that path. I use HandBrake on my PC to transcode my video to MP4.

Hold the phone! TVMobili has to transcode the stream to play on the Hopper? The Hopper cannot play MP4? Sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere.

Has anyone tried playing back an MP4 video from Home Media with the new release? Was hoping to have that on the new release so I can reduce the number of devices I have.

Yeah. I might have to pass for awhile on this one. Still, announced in Jan and now October with all of the bugs you still have. Does CE have 3 year old's writing code!? :-)

Thanks, again. Been a tough week. Technically, I would think, since you can download content over the broadband internet connection on a 622, there shouldn't be any limitations to stream downresed content from the 622 back to a PC. As far as any errosion from 922 sales, I doubt that would be...
