    Using Dish remote to control Philips DVDR

    Recording to disc Hi, I am intersted in recording video. I am a movie buff and want to make a file of movies on disc. I want to look at this with eye towards Mpeg4 recordings for the future. I want to record to disc from dish network. What equipment do I need for recording to disc?
