And the version it reports when booting is: 0x18f.01? If so, supposedly, there is a "secret" method in which to swap firmware banks within the unit and that the ones that aren't working just need to change.  Finding the way to do that change is now being looked for.

Huh? NBC hasn't had an SD mux up there in ages. And it wasn't on AMC6.

What hasn't been mentioned is that the CW network really isn't on G17, it is on G19/18. The G17 location is a programmed feed for what they call cable 100+, i.e., for cable systems in the 100+ DMA markets that do not have an OTA CW affiliate.
