I plugged everything together and powered off then on the 2Wire still no luck. The Router Modem connects without the Home plug attached but not attached. What kind of switch would I need to work with home plug. Thanks

No surge protector have it plug right to the outlet. I don't think its the IP address because if I don't have the adapter connected to the DVR as soon as I connect the adapter for the PC into the hub I lose the internet. And if I disconnect the adapter from the hub I have the internet again.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a DSL connection with a 2Wire 1070B Gateway with only one Ethernet port. I'm looking for the simplest way to connect. I assumed that would be the Homewire kits, but I need another Ethernet port that's why I thought of the 4 port hub. Thanks again

I have a question about these Homeplugs. What if your DSL has the modem and router all in one and you don't have an extra connection. Would I need three of these plugs? One for my Diectv box one for my modem/router and one for the computer? Thanks
