I’m still getting a very brief black screen within a minute, give or take, of starting playback of a recorded program with H372. But I haven’t seen it so far on a live feed. H3.

I'm a little annoyed that Seek timers sometimes choose to record a repeat broadcast later in the day rather than the first available episode. I can't imagine I'm doing it wrong, but welcome any advice.

Well I just turned on the Hopper3 tv with the Joey3 tv off and had a blackout within a few minutes. So that must not be a necessary condition. It does always seem to happen shortly after turning on the H3 or after switching to a different program.

I asked because there is a question whether the blackout issue only occurs when both the Joey and Hopper are actively being used concurrently.

Just curious if this morning the J2 is also in use?

So not everyone is experiencing the blackouts? It appears to be an issue with Hopper3/Joey3 combos only? Is Josh reading this thread?

I've been trying to determine if it only happens when the Joey 3 in the other room is also being used, but haven't been attentive enough, I guess. Doesn't seem to happen at all on the Joey itself though, just the H3.

Still getting the 2-3 second blackouts on h367 on H3. Seems to be getting worse, as I had one and then 20 seconds later it went black and stayed that way. Switching to another channel and then back restores the picture. I do think the picture quality looks great, and I agree that commands are...

I still have the same issues on the H3 with h366 - momentary blackouts, usually soon after the start of a program (live or recorded), and trying to navigate a program while it is currently being recorded is often unsuccessful.

I have seen this also, but I think it was on H364.

I still have the one or two second fade-to-black with H365. Someone remind me, what did we gain with this new media engine?

Yep, I just had it happen on a live program this evening.
