Any of these IPTV offer channel up/down feature?

Youtube TV let you scroll thru all the live channels and as soon as you stop it will show what's playing immediately. It takes about 1/4 of a sec really fast.. must have some kind of advanced buffering technology. It is really cool. With unlimited cloud recording I just started recording...

    The YouTube TV Thread

Okay after about 1.5 week of testing, I did find shows that you cannot skip commercials. They are not airing the normal commercials but the on-demand type.. about 2 min. The same ones they show on CW app.

    The YouTube TV Thread

I am trying it out at Los Angeles since it has 1 month free. So far I have been able to skip every show I recorded. And with unlimited dvr, you could just record every single show. The way that it sets up you cannot record just 1 episode. You record the entire show every episode (season...

    Netflix - Marvel's Iron Fist

I am on episode 4. While I enjoy the show and don't think it is that slow, I do think the "epic" level of this one is kind of went down a notch. After watching Dare Devil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage fighting gangs and gangs of people with machine guns, with super power, etc... the Iron...

Sling / DTV Now / Vue

Okay with the AT&T $25 off DTVN offer, I think DTVN is the cheapest of them all now at $10 a month if you have AT&T unlimited plan.

Sling / DTV Now / Vue

It's a cordcutter package offered to Charter Spectrum internet customer. For years I only have internet from Charter and then I started getting email about this new Stream TV package. I think their Spectrum app (on Ruku and Android) works with Charter regular TV package too, but the stream...

Sling / DTV Now / Vue

I think my Spectrum TV Stream Plus has the best bang for the buck. If I didn't have it, I may have gone for DTVNOW. My package costs is $20 with all locals + about 15 popular cables channels (HGTV, FX, AMC, ESPN, TBS, History, Food Network, etc...) AND HBO. And no contract with a free Roku...

    Russia 1 on Roku?

I don't know if they have Russian 1, but Kalinka-TV has a bunch of channels in Russian. Not all of them work. Some of them just keep buffering and crash the app.. have to reboot Roku to get out.

    is the worldbox finally coming?

Yeah I just tested it out this morning. Love the on demand! I wish they would assign the Guide to the "*" button. Right now the "*" does nothing... what a waste. I only have the Spectrum Stream Plus package so I don't notice any new channels. And I don't notice any difference in picture...

CBS All Access now offers commercial free plan

I haven't watched anything on CBS for a while, but when I used to watch Survivor, it works pretty reliably. Once in a while it will detect blocking and I just have to update the Easylist filter. Somebody is always updating the filters...it maybe a few days late but usually fixed in 2 or 3...

    new to charter

I feel like the phone part is way too much even if it is just $10 more, because you could get ooma for less than $4 a month. I was offered the double play internet/tv for $79 for first year. But I took the internet + streaming TV package instead. The price is about the same, but it does not...

Internet TV - What are my Options?

If you have Charter in your area, you maybe able to get Charter's Spectrum Stream Plus package. It is only $19.99/month for all local channels (ABC, NBC, NBC, Fox, CBS, PBS, etc..) and a whole bunch of cable channels like History, ESPN, TBS, HGTV, Food Network, etc... oh and all HBO channels...

Charter Launches Spectrum TV App on Roku

Tried HBO live again last night. And this time it seems to be in HD in all the channels. Maybe it was just a fluke last time. However the FX is so bad in the 2007 Transformer movie... I can't even watch it at all. You can see the people are acting in from of the green screen. You can...

Charter Launches Spectrum TV App on Roku

It is really not that big a deal though. Since all the live HBO channels contents could be watched as on demand on HBO Go... well except for any live sporting event I guess. I don't know why the live HBO channels are not in HD. The HGTV and Food Channel seems to be in HD. But none of them...
