    EchoStar 15 is on station at the nominal 119W slot. I would guess some channel or programming changes will start showing up in the next week or two (assuming it was moved there to replace degraded coverage)..

    Nothing has changed. The only reason it has not happened is because some EchoStar bondholders would not sign off on the deal.

    TPG would not have bought the rest of DIRECTV if it they could not turn a profit on the deal. Onerous debt is what has gone away.

    I installed a Starlink a month ago and then switched it to the minimum plan, and then paused service. It's there for whenever my main fiber is unavailable. Can reactivate it for a month at a time within a couple minutes when or if I need it.
