I'm waiting to see what happens with DTV too. E* wanted a 1 year contract to upgrade my boxes to the 811 so Comcast is my V* substitute for now. I get hooked up Saturday. E* doesn't seem to want my money any more.

bratboy, the Comcast CSR I talked to yesterday said TNTHD is still in negotiation for the Denver market. They have to negotiate for each market. She said it should be here this summer sometime "as well as a few other HD channels". I couldn't get any more out of her as far as other channels.

Sounds like your pre-amp is not getting power. You can get Channel Master pre-amps at Lowes also. I got the upgraded antenna from Voom with no pre-amp, so I went and got my own. No more rain fade.

I got hooked up on the 22nd and everything went pretty well. I do have to get an antenna upgrade though. The installer got here at 12:30 and left about 3:10. I think the dish assembly took him the longest. The only problem he had was after the software download, the boxes had to be re-activated...
