Last night I noticed that my 522 was recording a show that I had not set a timer for (I didn't even know what that show was). There were a number of episodes/re-runs of the same show scheduled. :eek: Unless someone broke into my house, set that timer, and left everything else in my house...

I have a Superdish (110,119,121) with a 522. So, I assume the DirecTV dish would not work for me?

I couldn't find anything in the forum that would answer my question, so I decided to ask. I have a brand new standard DirecTV dish including LNB and I was wondering whether or not I could use it to receive Echostar 1/2 at 148 degrees. Does anyone know if this would work?

I'm trying to use the remote control of the 522 to control my computer but I don't seem to be able to find a proper configuration. Does anyone have a working configuration file for Lirc/WinLirc that maps possibly all buttonns of the 522 remote contol? If so, what device/remote control code is...

My guess ... reboot and then nothing. Seriousely, I think this would be better than deleting old recordings.

We would have an interface via a wireless home network. No need for the extra device... If the software would provide for it, we could also copy recorded shows from the 522's HD to another computer, and that is exactly the reason why I don't believe that they will provide this feature.
