I love having PTAT and not having to worry about if I am going to miss any shows. Also, because of PTAT, I like looking at the space still available even after my wife records every show on HGTV and not having to worry about it affecting most of my shows from the big 4.

From what I have experienced, the PTAT is a continuous recording so if it is back to back the next show will start to play with no stop. When I am watching a recorded show from PTAT, when it is done it will still continue to play the next show. It's been great as I dont miss the next week...

Maybe it is how PTAT records in a group that each show really isnt it's own recorded segment.

I am in a chat with support and for the life of me I can't find a way to set a timer reminder from the guide. I only get recording options. They are seeing the same thing that there is no place to set reminders. Is there somewhere that I am missing to set these on the Hopper?

I am sure this was answered somewhere but have not been able to find it but when you are recording PTAT, can you watch a program within that block while it is recording i.e. watch Fringe while all channels are being recorded?

With all these stories I am starting to worry that they are going to call me back and say "sorry, we made a mistake and we can't offer you the system and are cancelling the install". If I am already on record is it still possible they could change this on me?

I just signed up with Dish a few months ago for the Hopper. I am being charged $199 for hopper and $99 for each Joey (2). Since I am new and still have the support, the install is $15. So the $400 will be due on my next bill and I Had to sign up for another 2 years. Let's hope nothing...
